Simplicity is the final achievement.

The Prairie Blossoms (Karen Kitchen & Mel Kubik) perform a program of contemporary and traditional Native American music.

They present an engaging repertoire of tribally-specific American Indian songs:  Lullabies, stomp dances, round dances, stick-game songs, planting songs, and more, using our voices, a variety of percussion instruments, and piano to share unique songs and stories.

Though they met in Portland, Oregon, both Karen and Mel were both born and raised on the prairies of North America, which informs their free and open natures as song carriers.
